Fate:A sword made of illusions

I finally made it! This commission was very difficult to finish! I was totally lacking inspiration about the subject so I tried, and tried, and tried...Well, It was very hard! Anyway the result isn't that bad! The deviation feature two of the main characters of the anime Fate/Stay Night: Shirou, the boy, is a Master, a wizard entangled in the obscure and mortal "War of the Graal". The girl is Saber, Shirou's servant, the embodyment of an heroic soul. They fight against six other masters to acquire the legendary cup, that will grant a wish to the one that will win the War.

This particula scene is the one in which Shirou and saber are fighting an enemy called Berserker. He seeem sto be immortal, with the ability to regenerate and even revive himself. Saber is injured due previous battles and Shirou, to aid his companion, create a gold sword with his magic power. The, both wielding the blade, they strike at the enemy...and they succeded! Berserker, mortally wounded, regain his sanity and prayse the mighty sword. A replica of a sword that not exist anymore, "a sword made of illusions, but capable to take seven lives in one strike", he says.

Well, I made up this pose referring to several Fate illustration and using sketches made looking at my Revoltech action figure of Dangaioh, armed with its sword, Thanks to its extreme posability, it was an enormous help. Like always, my style make the characters look wild and, in this case, very "muscular". I applyed the "shadows", used in my previous works, to add a sense of action and make the work more dynamic. The material are the usual: pencil, ink pen and Photoshop to make it brighter.
